Fungi Kids

The package idea Fungi comes from readings and insights on mushrooms in particular of Armillaria ostoyae or the largest living organism existing on earth whose mycelium extends underground for about 965 hectares.

We got inspired by how the spores and molds of these "alien" organisms are so important for the planet. The starting idea was to also use an element with strong references psychedelics e Pop, natural like flowers but much more interesting and multifaceted. All graphics were produced with an approach handmade style and then painted directly on the garments and then detected for printing, made entirely in screen printing. For a graphic, however, we used a AI software which simulates the growth of mushrooms and, by changing some parameters, we were able to create a "happiness" mushroom. Finally, the result of this virtual growth was printed on a t-shirt.
